Helenita grew up in and around water and has enjoyed water sports all her life. She participated in her first Total Immersion workshop in 2002 and has been hooked ever since! As part of her training she has fulfilled the requirements to become a certified Total Immersion Teaching Professional in January 2004 at Coral Springs, FL. Subsequently she went to the Total Immersion Swim Studio in New Paltz, NY in June 2006 to obtain her certification as an Area Leader. She now teaches in Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Alaska and is available for weekend workshops as well as private instruction. In December 2006 she joined a group of coaches in Coral Springs, FL for training with all four strokes. Not one to pass up the opportunity for more training, Helenita just finished a Teacher Training class in Coral Springs, FL - this training introduces the PMF (Perpetual Motion Freestyle) 10 lesson series.
Helenita divides her time between Seattle and Montana and looks forward to working with you!
